I saw a bumper sticker that said, " Cats not Kids".

I do not know the lady displaying the slogan on her car and I am glad I do not.

Movie Review: Spy Kids 2 The Island of Lost Dreams

Spy Kids 2 entertains and dazzles children and adults, much like the original. But if you expect a replica of SK1, you will be surprised. SK2 isn't is Xerox copy of its predecessor.

Installment number two of the Spy Kid series is faster than the original. In fact, it's so fast paced, it makes Die Hard look like a PGA tournament. The kids are constantly in danger, busily saving the world and avoiding the traps of rival spy kids. Action like this is usually found in the latest 'R' rated action flick, not a PG movie aimed at children and teenagers.

The sequel is also scarier than SK 1. Strange monsterlike animals and ominous skeletons may be too intense for children under the age of seven.

Writer/ Director Robert Rodriguez has allowed his characters to evolve. Juni is no longer as nerdy and Carmen has a strong crush on another Spy Kid. However, the sequel continues to place the importance of the family above spy missions.

By the way, don't leave during the credits.
